The Journal SCIRES-IT - SCIentific RESearch and Information Technology publishes original works—previously unpublished or not submitted elsewhere—focusing on digitalization, multimedia technologies, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in support of the documentation, conservation, and public access and enjoyment of cultural and environmental heritage (CH).

The SCIRES-IT Template and the APA citation style are mandatory; the manuscript must be formatted strictly according to them.

Authors are advised to verify that their proposed content is relevant to the journal's themes, to check whether these topics have already been addressed in previous issues, and to engage with the journal's exsisting literature.

Please note that SCIRES-IT - SCIentific RESearch and Information Technology is a Diamond Open Access and eco-sustainable journal. While the Editorial Team and reviewers operate on a purely voluntary basis, all management and administrative costs are personally sustained by the journal's Direction without any external funding, to guarantee completely free access, with no fees for either authors or readers. Consequently, strict adherence to the journal's guidelines and a covenant of mutual respect for editorial efforts are of paramount importance, as outlined in the Editorial (Vol. 16, Issue 1, 2026) regarding global research ethics, the uncritical use of Generative AI, and the sustainability of academic work.
